The origin of our raw gemstones is an essential part of our history at ALPENJUWEL. Our stones come directly from the Alpine regions . This breathtaking environment, characterized by majestic mountains and crystal-clear streams, contains treasures that are naturally beautiful. In order to make our range diverse, we also offer stones from all over the world.
However, our connection to the Alps goes beyond mere trade.
We are members of the Oberpinzgau Mineral Association and are actively involved in the world of gemstones and minerals. As passionate "stone seekers" (also known as lapidarists or gemologists), we are drawn to the mountains to discover and "collect" these valuable raw materials.
We understand the fascination and deep connection to nature that comes with searching for stones.
Our stones not only tell of the beauty of the Alps, but also of our commitment to respect and protect the natural resources of this region.

Alpenjuwel's roots lie in the heart of the Alps, where our founder and his family discovered their passion for mountaineering and treasure hunting in the mountains.
Whether as a dealer or as an experienced stone seeker, Christine is always on the lookout for the most beautiful gemstones that the Alps have to offer.
The Art of Grinding - Walter Roth and Herta Roth
In our workshop, the heritage of the Alps is transformed into valuable gemstones.
Walter and Herta Roth are masters of gemstone cutting and transform rough stones into brilliant works of art. From faceted gemstones to modern cabochon cuts, they are masters of the art of cutting.
Occasionally, when time allows our founder, she also devotes herself to cutting rough stones to transform them into gemstones
