Our Alchemystic Garnet ring is reminiscent of times gone by and new prospects. It is meant to give courage to take new paths and convey strength .
 Its simple design suits every occasion, making this ring irreplaceable as a daily companion . This ring is made of pure 925 sterling silver and was handmade by me in Austria. The faceted genuine garnet was cut by a gem cutter friend in Germany.
 This ring is unique, just like the person who receives it.

      • Processing : The cabochon cut is less laborious and takes less time than the facet cut. It is mainly cut and polished to achieve a smooth, round shape.

      • Shape : The faceting cut consists of many flat, geometric surfaces or "facets" cut into the surface of the stone. These facets are precisely arranged to optimally reflect light.

      • Optics : Faceted stones shine and sparkle due to the many facets that refract and reflect light in different directions. The faceted cut maximizes the brilliance and fire of the stone.

      • Uses : Faceting cuts are often found on valuable gemstones. They are particularly popular for their ability to capture and reflect light.

      • Machining : Faceting is more complex and time-consuming. It requires precise grinding and a lot of practice to position each facet precisely and ensure maximum light reflection.

      In summary: The cabochon cut emphasizes the natural beauty and color of the stone with a smooth surface, while the facet cut aims at brilliance and light reflection and is therefore more complex.
