The rosecut is a historic gemstone cut style characterized by its flat bottom (no pavilion facets) and a dome-shaped, curved top with triangular facets . These facets taper toward the center, reminiscent of the shape of an opened rosebud —hence the name.

- Facets: Usually between 12 and 24 facets, sometimes more.
